In partnership with TEDxAtlanta and Soul Dance Movement, we designed a low-sensory Refresh Room for this year’s TEDx conference—a calming sanctuary where participants could rest, reset, and regulate between sessions.
We also previewed an augmented version of the immersive installation SENSE. This augmented installation utilized a Muse S eeg headset connected to Touchdesigner via TouchOSC to utilize live brainwave data to generate custom visuals on the screen as the participant Kofi Ksa performed using indigenous instruments for the TedX audience. The intent of this was to tell a story of the shifts and changes made by the instruments on ones health and wellness from an internal perspective visualized on a screen.
